Beginning in November, the RREA Caravan will proceed as follows:
The 1st Thursday of the month will be SDCE Caravan and the 2nd Thursday of the month will be Ramona Town Caravan. The 3rd and the 4th Thursday of the Month will be “dark”. This was decided in response to the lack of properties scheduled for caravan, as well as input from RREA members. All other aspects of the current Caravan rules will stay the same.
- Homes scheduled for caravan must be in the 92065 zip code.
- Input deadline is 6:00pm on the Tuesday prior to caravan
- Caravan schedule:
- 1st and 3td Thursday- tour #25- San Diego Country Estates (SDCE), Rancho San Vicente (Ryland) Little Klondike area, Barona Mesa Estates area, and Vista Ramona and its cross-streets (Limited to 18 homes)

- 2nd and 4th Thursday- tour #24- Ramona town area….East and West (Limited to 15 homes)

- 5th Thursday- Land Caravan (Not always held call after the prior Thursday to determine schedule, call Thad Clendenen at 760-787-3206)
- Meeting Place:
- SDCE Caravan will meet at the San Vicente Inn Lounge, located at 24157 San Vicente Road at 8:30am.
- Town and Land Caravan will meet at the Century 21 San Vicente office, located at 1306 Main Street at 8:30am.
- Re-tours:
- 3 months from last viewing unless listing agent changes
- Only "ACTIVE" homes listed in the MLS can be put on caravan
- No additions will be made to the caravan schedule at Thursday's meeting.
- Agents or pre-designated person must be present to pitch the property at the caravan meeting or the home will be cancelled.
- Luncheons:
- RREA members have priority to non-members for the opportunity to have lunch. The home serving lunch will be placed last on the caravan schedule. ALL LUNCHES MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH THAD CLENDENEN AT 760-787-3206. Please mention you are serving lunch in your remarks
- Non-RREA Agents:
- Fee is $25.00 to be paid at the caravan meeting
(Please make checks payable to RREA and give to Thad Clendenen prior to the 8:30 a.m. start time. The same $25 fee applies to Non-Member Affiliates wishing to “pitch” their business at the end of the Caravan Pitch session.) After 3 properties in a calendar year, that agent must join the RREA to put more homes on the caravan schedule.
- To encourage RESPECT and PROFESSIONALISM, agents should plan to visit all homes on caravan.

A maximum number of 15 homes will be allowed and upon completion of the MLS Tour entry you must immediately email the MLS # and caravan date of the home entered to Caravan@Clendenengroup.com. (This email is only for time stamping and will not generate a response from the receiver.) Deadline for entry is Tuesday immediately preceding the Thursday caravan at 6:00 pm or whenever 15 home limit is filled. The received email time stamp will determine the cut off if more that the limit of 15 homes is reached. Go to www.rrea.org for any last minute meeting location changes and more details.
