Treasurer - Bart Ryan

March 2009 will mark the 20th year that Bart and his family have called Ramona home. When Bart and wife Kathy moved to Ramona in 1989 they had an 18 month old daughter Brianna. While Kathy is a native San Deigan, Bart grew up as a Navy brat getting to see much of our country and attending 8 different schools in 12 years. Bart and Kathy thought that Ramona looked like a great place to raise a family moving here in 1989 and adding daughters Lacey and Deirdre over the next few years. Two of the three girls have since graduated form Ramona High School while Deirdre will be a sophomore in the fall of 08. Bart spent 21 years working in the grocery business and obtained his real estate license in 1992. He earned his Brokers license in 2005 and the e-Pro designation in 2007. This will be Bart's 4th year on the Board of the Ramona Real Estate Association, first year as a director and entering the 3rd year as treasure.

Director - Doreen Smith

I appreciate the opportunity to serve with the RREA as a Director on the board. I have had my real estate license since 2002 and work with Prudential California Realty. I joined the RREA in 2002 and have been an active member since. I know how important it is to have a strong board that works together to help make our jobs easier to do on a daily basis. I will do my best to find solutions and perhaps give a new perspective to current and future issues that may arise.

I have been involved with the Ramona Chamber of Commerce and served on the board. I have also been active in open space land issues within the community in which I live and worked closely with our County Supervisor and County Staff to a successful resolution that took over two years.

My husband and I moved to Ramona 8 years ago and love the community in which we live. We have made many lifelong friends and continue to look forward to what the future holds for our wonderful town.
